Dispersants
POLYRON® and LOPON® dispersants further enrich the ICL Phosphate Specialty coatings portfolio. Dispersing agents assist the mechanical process of dispersing solid, insoluble pigments in water. Dispersing agents are mostly polymeric substances which dissociate into ions in aqueous media. The only major factors governing the efficiency of a dispersing agent are the polyanions formed during this process. The part played by the counter-cations is relatively minor.
ICL Phosphate Specialty offers both powder and liquid solutions for binding calcium and metal ions for dispersion of fillers and pigments for the production of highly filled interior and exterior paints.
