LOPON® DA 401

LOPON® DA 401 is a highly efficient dispersing agent based on middle molecular weight potassium polyacrylate. It is specially designed for silicate emulsion paints. With potassium as cation, no further ions are brought into the system and efflorescence will be suppressed during the drying process as it can happen through the formation of sodium carbonate. It achieves excellent deflocculation results when used in highly filled systems containing inorganic pigments e.g. titanium dioxide, calcium carbonate, and mica. LOPON® DA 401 has high alkaline stability and is highly compatible with polyphosphates such as POLYRON® N. This combination offers very good storage stability.
