Our POLYRON® products are polyphosphates with a selected chain-length distribution. These products are extensively used as dispersing agents in pigmented water-based systems – primarily, in water-based paints.
Overview
Because of their optimized dispersing properties for inorganic pigments and fillers, they are used to obtain systems of stable viscosities. Another benefit is that they complex multivalent cations such as Ca2+ and therefore also act as water softeners.
