Company History

HALOX® was established in 1972 in Hammond, Indiana by the Hammond Group, Inc. to meet regulatory, industry and customer demand for lead and chromate-free non-toxic pigments for corrosion resistant and tannin stain resistant coatings. HALOX® was acquired in October 2011 by ICL Performance Products LP, a leading global specialty phosphate producer.

Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restrictions of Chemicals

As an international manufacturer, importer and distributor of chemical goods, HALOX® is dedicated to taking necessary action to comply with the European Chemicals Legislation to protect your health and our environment. With that said, all imported HALOX® products have been successfully pre-registered with the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA). As CLP Regulation is an integral part of REACH Compliance, all HALOX® products listed as “pure substances” have been notified, classified, labeled and packaged in Directive 1272/2008/EU. HALOX® is fully committed to registering all chemicals contained in its products on time and in accordance with the schedules permitted by the European legislation.
