Hybrid Corrosion Inhibitors
Hybrid Corrosion Inhibitors are unique inorganic-organic corrosion inhibitors. They provide the best of both worlds in terms of anti-corrosion performance. The corrosion protection achieved by non-toxic inorganic materials can be enhanced by physicochemical modifications of the base inorganic chemistries with certain organic chemistries. The premium cost associated with organic corrosion inhibitors can make them rather cost prohibitive in most coating applications. Hybrid Corrosion Inhibitors are therefore designed to maximize corrosion efficiency at minimal cost while guaranteeing the best corrosion fighting mechanisms. The two primary advantages of Hybrid Corrosion Inhibitors are: cost-efficiency and the synergy of anti-corrosive mechanisms.
HALOX® 750 is another specially engineered product, containing 80% less zinc compounds than traditional zinc phosphate with enhanced performance due to the addition of organic functionality. This zinc phosphate complex is designed to compete head-to-head with modified zinc phosphate pigments with the benefit of a labeling exemption under EU regulations.
