HALOX®’s hybrid sol-gel technology bridges the gap between inorganic and organic materials and addresses the demand for eco-friendly coatings because it replaces toxic heavy metal corrosion inhibitors. The sol-gel composition of HALOX® 550 WF works by forming a dense inorganic corrosion resistant network over most metal surfaces therefore it reduces white rust on hot-dipped galvanized steel and prevents black rust on silver substrates!
